About us

A church seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, for we are His chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,His own special people, so that we may proclaim the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Our Journey

We thank God that He has redeemed us and chosen us to be His disciples, to proclaim His glory and to partner with Him in ushering in His kingdom, prepared even from the foundation of the world for everyone who believes.

Kingdom Generation Church comes under the banner of Gateway Ministries International (GMI), which again comes the banner of Salt and Light Ministries, UK.

Kingdom Generation Church was planted as a result of the vision of Ps. C.V.Jose, who pastors Crossway Community Church, Secunderabad and also God’s confirmation to us that He has called us to take care of His sheep and further His kingdom.

While praying about the new church, God spoke that this was a church He will plant and revealed His vision for His chosen people “generation”, to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness”. His kingdom in heaven is to be reflecting here on earth. Seeing this as God’s plan and direction for us, we accepted the vision. The name Kingdom Generation Church springs out of this very background. A Generation seeking the rule of God in their lives and His righteousness; a Church established to give Him glory, honour and praise.

Our first inaugural and combined service was held on 22nd Jan 2012. It was amazing to see God’s plan unfold in our lives. Praise be to God, KGC has been blessed with an anointed lot of God’s children who have been standing by us, fulfilling their God given purpose and also moving along with the vision that God has set before us. Under the supervision and discipleship of Ps. Jose, we have been pressing on.

It has been a joy serving God and His people and we know that He has great plans for His church in this city and it is good to be a part of that great plan. We echo the song that says:-

“Greater things have yet to come; greater things are still to be done in this city”

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom we glory in, knowing that it is only through Him that we have obtained blessing upon blessing and a secure future that will never be taken away from us. Hallelujah.
